Upcoming 2020 Scheduled Groups

COVID-19 Specific Virtual Support Groups

We are currently offering free specialized support groups online through Facebook. These groups will be created by interest and need.

This can feel like a very uncertain time as we experience a pandemic and everything that comes with it. There are a lot of unanswered questions, false news and real news that is hard to understand, as well as loss, grief and loneliness from self-isolation and quarantine. There are also challenges financially as the economy is changing and emotionally for front-line workers and those who have experienced loss.

If you are interested in joining a virtual support group consisting of sharing through posts with other members, please connect with me via https://www.facebook.com/MichelleAzizCounselling/ to be added to the appropriate private Facebook group. Please also share this information with anyone who you think may benefit from counselor led groups.

In the group you will be able to:

  • connect with other group members in a similar situation as you share your tools and strategies that work for you;
  • learn from other members tools and strategies for coping; and
  • have the groups posts/ concerns /struggles/ successes reviewed and responded to by the therapist from Michelle Aziz Counselling
